The OxyRePair team participated in a workshop and became part of the REACH2 Network of Networks for clean hydrogen production, alongside the University of Connecticut, Fraunhofer and Max Planck Institutes, the University of British Columbia, and other leading institutions worldwide.

A dynamic three-day workshop at Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Systems (ISE) in Freiburg, Germany, brought together hydrogen experts from Germany, Canada, France, South Africa, Mexico, Israel, Japan, Serbia, Italy, Turkey, the USA, and many other countries, united by a common goal: accelerating innovation in clean hydrogen technologies. The workshop was hosted by the University of Connecticut and led by Dr. Jasna Janković, Ulf Groos and Terry Barber-Tournaud.

The mission of the REACH2 Network is to connect successful academic, research and industrial partners worldwide into a strong coalition. Through knowledge exchange, expertise sharing and scientific collaboration, the network aims to fast-track the development of clean hydrogen technologies. A special focus is placed on nurturing the next generation of experts and global leaders in clean energy.

During the workshop, partners presented their key capacities, research areas and needs, as well as ways in which the REACH2 Network can contribute to faster progress for all members. Interactive activities helped define the network’s plans and goals, along with concrete ideas for more effective collaboration in the future.

OxyRePair Combo is now part of this prestigious network, which opens up new opportunities for the development and application of innovative solutions in water electrolysis, and for joint action in the global transition to sustainable energy sources.
